If this blog is truly a reflection of what brings joy into our lives, then there is a glaring omission that must be corrected. Nothing brings more joy into my life than my dear wife Lisa. I know that I can't adequately express what she means to me in a blog post, but I hope to at least express something of how much she brings to my life.
Just one example of many that illustrates how great she is. Yesterday at work, I starting noticing that I was coming down with a cold. I came home sick and tired, ready to just crash and start trying to recover. Since that time, she has made taking care of me her number one priority. That may not sound terribly remarkable, except that as she has mentioned, she is also sick. She may even have been feeling worse than I did. Despite that, she has encouraged me to rest as much as possible and gotten me everything that I need.
Thanks, Lis, for always being there for me and taking care of me, even when it's not easy. I hope that I can be as helpful and supportive of you as you have always been of me.
