I would guess that Lisa will put her own post on here about conference, but I'll go ahead and put in my two cents. Life has definitely had its challenges and stresses the last several months, as many of you know. This conference was a good chance for me to slow down a bit and try to put things back into perspective. At the risk of sounding cliche, I will say that some of the talks were exactly what I needed to hear right now. I am sure that almost anyone who listened to conference could say the same. As always, the talks were memorable and inspiring, and I already have a list of talks that I want to go back to and listen to again.
Just like the New Year, conference weekend is a great time to stop, reflect, refocus and set some goals. Now that the conference is over, the challenge is getting those goals to last longer than the proverbial week-long New Year's resolutions. If anyone has thoughts on applying and forming habits on the good intentions from conference weekend, feel free to share.
