It's always nice to receive a letter in the mail, especially in our busy world. There's something about a handwritten note that means so much more. I admire my friends who take the time to do this.
A little something unexpected also occurred. A friend Blakely forgot her notebook and folder after we were done with our video. Luckily, Zoe saw it before we left. That notebook and folder contained all of Blakely's hard work for the entire semester. It would have been very traumatic to lose all of that right before finals.
I then texted Blakely and we agreed to meet on 4th since she had already left. I'm glad we were able to give it to her because for all I know, she may have needed it for class tomorrow! I hope when I lose stuff, people will do the same for me.
Service doesn't have to be something grand or bought in a store,
it needs to come from the heart, which means much more.
