The King's Speech

If you see one movie this year, please let it be The King's Speech.
What an encouraging story during a time that we all need something to uplift us.

A King who didn't think he could give a speech without stuttering, a wife who believed in him and stood by him, and a speech therapist who did what no else could do.

True story.

All I can say is that I hope to be like the wife in the movie,
standing by her husband through everything.

No wonder it won best picture.

Just a thought though if you're wondering about the rating.
Rent it and watch it on ClearPlay.
There's no violence or sex, just language.
You'll be happy that you did.

During these challenging months and months to come ahead,
it has inspired me to face them head on.

  2. Umm, I feel like you're sort of moving in to my area on the blogosphere. I do movie reviews. I don't talk about how much I miss your brother or how much I love Kevin. Let's keep our worlds separate! ;) Te amo, Sra. Alma!
