I imagine that there may be a few new readers today over from Today's Letters.
May we welcome all readers from wherever they found us.
We're so happy that you're here!
Even if you're a regular, we're still so happy that you're here!
We'd like to welcome you to our little blog where we talk about JOY as much as possible.
My husband Kevin and I have been through a lot after the miscarriage of our first baby.
After that, we decided to only focus on JOY, right here as part of the journey we call life.
In fact, we've created a long list of things from our labels that bring us JOY.
In fact, we've created a long list of things from our labels that bring us JOY.
If truth be known, we'd love to have you all over in our teeny Salt Lake apartment where the snow is fresh for skiing and the hot chocolate is waiting. Unfortunately, we wouldn't all fit inside.
So for now-pull up a chair, grab some hot chocolate/tea/coffee and blanket (I heard that it will be below freezing all over the country today). Feel free to read away and join us in the journey.
We hope that we have the chance to inspire and warm your heart.
enJOY!

I am reading from the link on Today's Letters and I am intrigued by your "finding joy" purpose. Then I saw that you have a miscarriage story and I pause. I too am writing a blog out of that horrible tragedy. Mine isn't so pretty but I am finding hope... mammaserene.blogspot.com

I love that you focus on Joy and make it your blogging mission... Having 7 miscarriages before an emergency hysterectomy I too know that's not always easy...
ReplyDeleteBUT, it's what we are called to do. There is ALWAYS beauty and always something to be grateful about. It's just a matter of choosing to look at them.
Love that you're from SLC, that is home for me as well. However, I was romantically whisked away by a handsome Soldier and have since lived in Richmond, VA and now Niceville, FL. I love that you've both chosen to focus on Joy after such a hardship. I've learned with the Army life that you often have to do the same or it could be very miserable. Look forward to reading :) www.fallonella.com
