Recently, I started visiting a neighborhood family with Dave. Dave is just about the most optimistic person I know. He always faces life with a smile and a cheerful word. He is a wonderful example to me on keeping a positive attitude. He is a dedicated friend and a committed follower of Christ.
Dave also happens to be blind. You wouldn't guess it by his attitude, but every once in a while he lets on about some of the challenges he faces. When life gets tough, he just laughs. I recently heard him say that he loves stairs because they present a challenge to him. He just thrives off of the challenges he faces. When I grow up, I want to be like Dave.

Awww.....I wanna be like Dave, too! What a difference that commitment to Christ can make...Thanks for the reminder to keep positive no matter the obstacle!
