As hand in hand we gaze ahead.
Toward days unknown the future calls
As here we stand and gaze ahead.
With blazing reds the night draws nigh
As hand in hand we gaze ahead.
The darkness seeps and falls the sky
As here we stand and gaze ahead.
Despite the dark, the stars peer through
As hand in hand we gaze ahead.
We wait to see what fate may do.
We calmly stand and gaze ahead.
A brilliant flash! One star grows cold.
With pain, we fear to gaze ahead.
No telling what the future holds,
But we must stand, and gaze ahead.
The stars become more dim and deep
As hand in hand we gaze ahead;
Sweet laughter flies and good retreats.
Yet moving on, we gaze ahead.
But then from darkest night's great depth
While we look on and gaze ahead
A light shines forth! A feeble beam
To give us hope. We gaze ahead.
First faint, then ever growing. Soon
A beacon shines; we gaze ahead.
The morning light o'er powers the moon
As we gain faith and gaze ahead.
As day light rises, breaking dawn
Renews our hope. We gaze ahead.
Fore'er our love in light will bloom
As we with joy now gaze ahead.
We hand in hand will gaze ahead,
Eternally we gaze ahead.

I LOVE that picture above the poem! There is something about people walking AWAY from a camera that really draws my attention. I have a picture of my girls taking a hike where they are walking away. I think it says a lot and I will REALLY enjoy it when they are all grown up. Thanks for sharing!
