I'm realizing that I need to write about the good and bad times.
Thanks for hanging in there with me while I didn't write.
It's time to start again.
Life has definitely thrown major curve balls lately
and they keep hitting me right in the face.
Even though it has been difficult,
I've kept going and I'm making it.
School started last week and it looks like it's going to be a great semester.
Filled with lots of friends, wonderful teachers and building my portfolio still.
I can't wait to see what this fall will bring.
And so my latest joy for me,
finishing a 5K.
I know it's not that far but it was a major accomplishment
for someone who doesn't run and only started working out
just a few weeks ago.
I wasn't first and wasn't last and that was good enough for me.
For those who also may be facing difficult times:
"Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear,
for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you;
and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ,
that I am the Son of the Living God,
that I was, that I am, and that I am to come.
Good for you on finishing a 5K...that is far more than I could! :) Life is definitely filled with the ups and downs, but it is so nice to hear that you keep going and are going to move past it to better things! Glad you start to school has been a good one so far and hope it is filled with lots of fun memories to come!

ReplyDeletei'm sorry you're going through a hard time. life is hard. i've been having a hard time lately as well. i know this is nosey, but i'm confused. do you still live with your husband? did you move to arizona? all of your posts recently are in slc. i hope you are doing ok. i've learned it's best not just to ride the wave utnil it's over-- be proactive and find ways to make it out. there is no reason to stay miserable when it's not your fault. good for you for trying to keep your head above water and do something about it! all the best!

I haven't been here in a while and I'm trying to catch up. Keep your head up. You have such a "joyful" spirit, I know that you'll make it through anything that you're dealing with right now.
