I was recently reminded to "let go."
Whether it be a trial or how someone offended me,
it was time to let go.
The metaphor used was to take whatever was bothering us
and have it be the bright sunny yellow balloon.
And then, let go of it and turn it over to God.
Trust that He will take care of it, no matter how big or small.
Take it out of your heart and no longer be offended;
instead feel peace.
Take it out of your heart and no longer be offended;
instead feel peace.
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thy own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Great post:) very true reminder to let Him have control!
ReplyDeleteA really good way of reminding yourself to let go is to put your arms out, close your eyes and fall backwards onto your bed without flinching or catching yourself. The bed will catch you and everything will be ok. Its a lovely feeling. Wonderful post.
