While I was going through my blog list I found this link-up where a blogger is allowed to say, "It's okay." I thought it was perfect for a Thursday, a day I'm wishing I could stay in bed.
It's OK. . .
that I'm still looking for job
that I have to live with family for now
that I'm living off of alimony for the time being
that I hate transition periods and the fact I'm living through one
that I can't do it all and always meet everyone else's expectations
that my way to de-stress to buy hot chocolate at Starbucks (which I probably can't afford)
that I take way too many pictures and never have time to edit them all
that I love walking around New York City without a destination in mind, just walking
that on days I don't have much going on, I read an entire book in one sitting
that I may never be able to fully clean out my inbox (over 20,000 messages)
that I still have a lot of laundry to do but am headed out to New York City instead
that when my internships don't take advantage of me, I blog instead
that I had to take two months off of school to move across the country
that I've been going through the hardest time of my life
and all it's OK

love your photo.. and oh how i would love to be able to just walk around new york. ENJOY :)

Blogging and reading and exploring NYC are not bad ways to spend time! It is okay! :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to NYC but wandering around it sounds lovely!
ReplyDeletetransition periods are the worst, but I've learned its when you learn the most, surprisingly!
ReplyDeletehave a great night! xo
Just stumbled across your blog and judging from only this entry that I have read so far, I can tell that you are a very strong woman! Sorry to hear that you are going through a tough time right now, but you know that the only way it can go is UP!
ReplyDeleteI never have time to clear out my inbox either (it's too overwhelming! But, I don't have near as many as you do! 20,000!!! My goodness!)
It's unreal how many pictures I take and never have the time to edit (but I have such high hopes when I first take the pictures! haha!)
Hope things start to look up for you soon girl!
