My goodness, it has been awhile since I've done a post like this! There have been some amazing moments since moving to Philadelphia and being able to explore New York City.
My sweet friend Kelsey and I met up in NYC one rainy day. We explored every nook and cranny of MoMa which was absolutely fantastic. That same day, I found Chobani. You might see the yogurt at WalMart but they actually have a yogurt bar in SoHo which makes for an amazing light lunch. I have yet to try their yogurt from the grocery store, it was awesome to have fresh toppings-- best just to go back!
During the hurricane, my cousin and I stopped in Au Bon Pain. I fell in love with their pumpkins and large wooden tables.
Halloween was a lot of fun and yours truly answered the door to hand out candy. This year it was easier just to put on a shirt after a long day of work. Although, I'm planning next year's costume already. I don't want to miss out again!
We had our first snowfall that didn't stay around. After Thanksgiving, I'll be ready for that white stuff to come back! The leaves have been gorgeous this year and the ones above are from my aunt's backyard.
One weekend while in NYC, I walked past Joy Burger Bar. I took the picture simply because it said joy. Now I want to try this place just because of the name. That same afternoon I walked over to Dwell Studio where the lovely Joanna Goddard was hosting a bake sale. I picked up several chocolate chip cookies to share with co-workers at work. They were amazing!
The Shake Shack is my favorite place to go to lunch. It's only a few blocks away which is dangerous. The last time I went, they gave me a coupon for some free custard if I promised to vote! No worries, I did mail my vote in and now have to go back to the Shake Shack to try some of their custard (oh darn).
One night, my friend Mike met up with me after work and we went to a snazzy little place called Continental. The food was good and dessert was the best part!
If there's one thing that I love about working on the 27th floor, it's the view. I love being able to look out and see beautiful Philadelphia.
Christmas is starting to sneak in! I can't believe that Thanksgiving is already coming next week. It's insane how time flies. The "real" Santa will be coming here soon! You can find my favorite holiday essential oil here.
I'm slowly learning to dance again. I'll be honest, things have not been easy. But as Dicken's wrote, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."
Finally, this is how we blog around here! I couldn't help but love this Dunkin Doughnuts cup with my favorite word, joy. May all of us continue to find joy no matter how tough times turn out to be!

That dessert is speaking to me and I love those lights!
