Like so many in this country, I have been devastated by news. There's been so many wonderful stories covered and true heroism shown.
I felt that this shooting hit home because children coming home safely from school is something we all took for granted. I don't think it's something that any of us should ever have to worry about. As a child, I remember my parents always praying for our safety. Sometimes I wondered if it a was a little redundant, but truly you can never ask God too many times to keep your family safe from harm.
I pray that those families may find peace in light of everything that happened.
May they be blessed and always remembered in our hearts.
