Weekending

It was quite the fun weekend!

I can't tell you how wonderful it was to see family and even run into an old friend.
Cousins on the Brooklyn Promenade | Christmas shopping at the Union Square Holiday Market | My cousin Jim's apartment | New Barkley Center in Brooklyn | A cute decorated apartment in Brooklyn (dreaming) | The view on the Promenade| My favorite Italian Restaurant Sauce | Last but not least, flourless chocolate cake, yum!

I love how this last minute meetup warmed my heart. So sweet to see my two cousins while I indulged in some made in America Christmas shopping. Plus, another check off my list-- I have always wanted to see the Brooklyn Bridge at night, now I have!

On Sunday in case you missed it . . . The Christmas Devotional. My dad is singing in the choir on the front row. :)

Funny story, I went to church to watch the devotional and ran into an old high school friend. I felt so lucky and realized the world is small. When we need it most, there's always someone to brighten our world.
