Today is another historical inauguration day. President Barrack Obama holding the parade on Marin Luther King Jr. day adds a personal touch and meaning. Have you heard that he took oath on the bible of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr.? Another amazing touch as both these men saw a more peaceful future.
I have to say that being back east, today is a big deal. Even though, I voted the other way this last election, I'm excited and looking forward to another four years of the Obamas. I can't wait to see what Michelle Obama wore to the ball and what she has in store for her program to stop childhood obesity!
Today is a day that I am proud to be an American. The photo above makes me eager for what lies ahead. There are so many reasons to celebrate! Mr. President, we're standing right by you and the next four years are going to be amazing.
I cannot tell you how nice it is to hear someone POSITIVE about the upcoming 4 years. Yes, I am concerned about our economy. No, I did not vote for President Obama to be re-elected... But I absolutely support the office of the President of the United States and I love his family and what they stand for. Michelle Obama is an incredible woman. Love you blog, Lisa!
