My sweet blogger friend Kim from The K.O. Story hosted her first music swap!
I have to admit, I laughed a little when I first heard about this because back in the day, we used to trade mixed tapes in junior high. It felt like I was reliving those days.
It was a great idea though and I got to know a little bit about Megan from Just A Small Town Girl.
Megan is originally from Alabama and now lives in North Carolina. I'm impressed with all her goals for 2013 (now if only I were that motivated). I can tell that by her music picks she is a strong Christian. The Music Mixup theme for the month was New Beginnings for Megan it was about new love and songs that have helped her through tough times.

I love just about every kind of music. God Gave Me You by Dave Barnes is one of my favorites. I don't care for Blake Shelton's version though. Probably because it's Dave's song and I heard it from him first.
I also am loving the song Try by Pink and Catch My Breath by Kelly Clarkson.
