Recently, I've had troubles getting the motivation to blog again. After some harsh words from a friend, it hit me hard and think twice about blogging. I didn't blog anything about them. They were just concerned that I wasn't really living life.
I thought about it and took a long break. I came to the following conclusions:
1. My family reads my blog every day. It's a way for them to stay connected to me since I can't always call them.
2. Learning to write about joy during the hard times has made me look at life differently. I definitely want to continue to have a positive attitude!
3. I have a voice and it's a good thing to share. My blog is the place to share it.
4. I have the best readers! Through blogging, I have met some amazing people and am so grateful to have them in my life.
Here's to another year of Happy Joyful Day! Stay tuned, I have joyful ideas up my sleeves.
xoxo

I'm glad that you're still blogging, and hooray for getting your own domain name! Sometimes, I think it's hard people who don't blog to understand blogging in general, but if you learn to schedule it around your life, it really is a great way to be heard and get your thoughts out. :)
ReplyDeleteYea! I'm glad you're back :) Love the new design! Hope you are doing well friend.
ReplyDeleteDon't let anyone get you down!!! I love reading your blog as well, and I'm NOT family! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've decided that my blog is for no one but me. No one may read it and thats fine, but my blog is my journal. Its a place where I record my life's events. How is a blog different from a journal? I'm glad that your still blogging, because I love your little pick me ups. Keep blogging, if for no one else but you!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog Lisa, and I am glad you are continuing. You always uplift me, and make my day brighter, so Thanks!
