National Girl Scout Cookie Day

{source}
Oh my, it's National Girl Scout Cookie Day. That means, those sweet little girls are going to be out selling my favorite cookies and I won't be able to say no. Honestly, who can resist a sweet little girl trying to earn money for her troop? Not to mention . . . she is selling my favorite cookie of all time. I break down for Peanut Butter Patties a.k.a. Tagalongs. I have been known to eat a couple of boxes all by myself.

Most importantly, selling cookies means more to the girls than just making money it helps them to learn meaningful skills that they will use throughout their life.

"Selling cookies teaches goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics--aspects essential to leadership, to success, and to life."

Think twice before you pass up these cookies! While cookie prices differ throughout the country, here's a good break down of where your money goes. Which is to the girls! Of course.

Girl Scouting builds girls of character, confidence and character, who make the world a better place! Happy Cookie Day!

xoxo

p.s. The calories don't count when it's going to a good cause. :-)
