Weekending: General Conference

My favorite scripture.

This week I still have been down and out with an ear infection that has cold fluid in it. I was definitely ready for the weekend. While I've been healing up, hoping to gear up for this next week since school starts for me again; I've been watching General Conference.

For those of you who may not be familiar with what General Conference is, it's a time when members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gather to listen to the prophet and apostles of today, wherever the members may live. During conference messages of peace, hope and comfort are shared to guide us in today's time.

I invite you to listen this Sabbath morning and afternoon to their messages, even if you're a little curious to know what it's all about.

Conference weekend in April is always one of my favorite with beautiful spring weather, a perfect time to set new goals and to continue to follow the path of the Savior.
