First, I have to say, I'm really excited that Kevin and I found an apartment that we like! It's located in the middle of Philadelphia so this little apartment (which is surprisingly not the smallest space we've ever lived in) has a hefty price tag (the most we've ever paid).
High prices for apartments are not new for back east cities. What is new to me, is how do you decorate a studio?
Thank goodness for Pinterest because I headed right there! What would we have done back in the day?

I'd would seriously like to know . . . do you have any ideas on how to dress up a small space?

I would say that everything just has to be multipurpose. Don't get stuff, or bring stuff into the space that doesn't serve at least two purposes. I lived in a small space for awhile, and got rid of tons of stuff!
ReplyDeleteSomething I learned with my last apartment (super tiny!) was how much organizational stuff I needed. Those piles of papers/books/kitchen junk get out of control in little spaces.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these ideas!!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful day!

These are wonderful ideas! I love them! I think it's all about finding the right containers at home- ideally, those that harmonize with the wall color of your apartment and can easily be hidden away from plain sight or act as part of the decor. Aim for aesthetically practical pieces of furniture as many renters of Madison apartments for rent have.
