Simple Things-Thanksgiving Point

On Friday, we had the chance to go Thanksgiving Point to attend the Tulip Festival in Lehi, Utah.
It was the first sunny day in a long time and finally felt like spring.

Some of the tulips were out, there hasn't been enough sun for all them to bloom yet.

Thanksgiving Point was created to celebrate the community and giving thanks.
It's a beautiful place filled with acres of landscaped gardens, each with different features.
Love this carousel.

The gardens are also a spiritual place for thinking and pondering.
If you look closely there's hidden thoughts and scriptures in each garden.

My favorite garden is the Secret Garden.
I grew up loving the movie.

It's even peaceful enough for a goose to lay her eggs in an arch.

What a wonderful Spring day!
Hope you'll go during the festival now until May 7th!

"For the beauty of the earth,
For the beauty of the skies
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

For the beauty of each hour
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale, and tree and flow'r,
Sun and moon and stars of light,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise."

Embrace the Camera Day-Bellagio

On our way down to Tucson, we stopped in Vegas for a couple of hours, upon my request.
It was such a nice day and really nice to get of the car for awhile.
Vegas is half way point to Tucson from Salt Lake.

If you ever go to Vegas, make sure you go to the conservatory at the Bellagio.
Prettiest part of Las Vegas and you're in for a surprise every time as they change
the flowers and decorations for every single holiday.

This spring the theme is butterflies and an old fashioned carnival.
Absolutely beautiful.

The greenhouse where they had real butterflies was my favorite part.

Happy Spring!

Lovely Spring

It was definitely spring in Grants Pass, Oregon.
And it was just lovely.

While there's still a bit of snow on ground, I thought we could all look at these and dream.

Yes, daffodils there grow randomly on the side of the road.  It's just beautiful.

These were all just taken on a walk one sunny afternoon.
Can I please go back?
For now, I'll dream and hopefully spring will come soon.

Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows.
