Simple Christmas

December 25, 2010
Kevin was woken up by an excited Katelyn.
She was waiting to see what Santa brought her.

I was so tired that I didn't wake up until Kevin carried me into the living room and laid me on the couch so I could watch the girls open their gifts from Santa. I loved watching them. Although the best part was watching Aiden look at her stocking. All she wanted was the animal crackers that Santa brought her.
She brought over the huge bag of crackers to Kevin and holding up her little hands begging, "Crack crack, crack crack." Oh too cute.

Sadly enough, I didn't recover in time to take pictures. But we enjoyed the simple morning.

Later that afternoon we went to the Jones'.
With 10 nieces and nephews in one room and a tree full of presents left to open-there was
  plenty of excitement.

Christmas tree at the Kevin's parents home.
Most of kids gathered around Grandpa.
Ryan holding up his new Diego socks from Grandpa and Grandma.
Michael and Cheryl opening up the vinyl mugs from us.
Emily, Bethany, Jared, Stephanie and Brian laugh after opening the classic, Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Robots.
Ryan shows his parents, Ali and Eric his new puppets. They're so cute!
Eli loves her new dress-ups, especially the flower wand.
Ryan and the peacock.
Emily, Kevin, and Ali sit at the piano bringing in some Christmas cheer.
There was definitely a feast of food to go around as well. I think my favorite had to be a layered jello but sadly didn't take any pictures.

We went back to my parents later as well for a traditional Christmas dinner.
Overall, it was just a fun day to be with family.
Plus, we were especially blessed that Stephanie and Brian flew all the way out from North Carolina.
Thanks guys!

Happiness is being home with family on Christmas.
