My wife recently bought me another book for my Calvin and Hobbes collection. I have long been a fan of this beautifully drawn and frequently insightful comic strip. Whether Calvin is saving the world as Stupendous Man or exploring the galaxy as Spaceman Spiff, he is what every inner child aspires to be. Just when life seems to be getting out of control, I can sit down, pick up a Calvin and Hobbes book, and be reminded of the simple joys of finding bugs under a rock. Anything can be an adventure with a properly drawn map, an explorer's hat and a healthy dose of imagination. So go ahead, grab your backpack, an extra tuna fish sandwich, and let's go see what's out there!
