Friday. . . I'm in Love

Hello friends,

I know it's been awhile.

I've been so busy trying to get everything settled in our new house

and am now out of town for a friend's wedding!

The flight was a little crazy and you may have seen some of the pictures if you follow me on Twitter.

I still made it!

I'm so happy to be here and look forward to exploring the city.

But while I'm away, I'd thought I would share a project that I did for Kevin

so he doesn't miss me too much.

I wrapped a present in grocery bags with a note,

one for every day that I'm gone

(he'll have quite the stack since I'm gone for 15 days).

Plus, it's just a reminder how much I love him.

The Simple Things-Thursday Surprise

Thursdays are always a teeny bit hard because we really look forward to our weekends.
Why not dress it up with a fun surprise to bring on the weekend!I thought it would be a lot of fun and something simple to say I love you, since all week has been a lovers week for us.

I took a coupon out of the book that Kevin gave me and decided to give it right back to him.I love you because you continue to surprise me.Surprise him I did. Found a movie on sale at Target and a carrot cupcake from the fairy.
Little did I know that his surprise would show up at the same time.

I was super excited! Plus, this is really cute.
It was a great way to start off the weekend.
