Hello loves, today I'm excited to announce our first guest blogger for our 31 days of kindness project! Amy from The Charming could not be any sweeter. She is a lovely lifestyle blogger with so many great tips! Although, my favorite is her Monday Inspiration, because who doesn't need a-pick-me-up on a Monday? :)
Now on to finding out how you can create the perfect gift basket, which is just in time for holidays! I can now see myself creating a fun, spooky basket for Halloween!
I love giving gift baskets to people for any occasion. I find them so much fun! Maybe I’m silly like that… but who doesn’t love receiving a present with lots of little gifts! I even gave a gift basket to our parents for helping us move in to our house and then I made one for our realtor for all of her hard work and support throughout the home buying process.
Here are ways you can customize gift baskets for the loved one in your life!
The secret to a great gift basket is sentiment, personality, and functionality. Plus, the basket can be reused for storage.
Whenever I create a gift basket for someone, I think about who they are as a person as well as what defines our relationship to each other.
In my opinion, a gift basket has one prize item and then smaller items surrounding it. You also have to include a personalized note or card. A joke item also adds a great deal of personality and heart!
$ = $15-35 // $$ = $35-75 // $$$ = $75-150 // $$$$ = $150+
The reason I give options for $$$$ is because some people will spend that much on a loved one to have a main gift then will buy small gifts around that. Plus, some just have that kind of money to spend. But I try to give options for a variety of price ranges. For the prize item, I would pick one $$$/$$$$ or two $$/$$$. For the filler items, I would use best judgment in the number of $ items to get, also remember personal notes and inside jokes make great filler items!
Thank you Amy! Now, wouldn't you like to find a decorated basket on your doorstep? The key is to fill it with love. Be sure not to miss any of Amy's amazing tips and tricks! You can follow her on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
Happy Tuesday!
