Graduation Pictures

My in-laws took some great pictures of graduation.
Later when I have a moment to breathe, I promise to catch up and share all the special details.

For now, I'm currently up late packing for our move to Arizona.
The movers are coming in just a few hours.
I can't believe that it's finally happening.

What's even crazier is that we'll be going from 30 degree Utah weather to 90 degree Arizona weather!
It might just be a shock for the first few days!

I'm sad to be leaving my family and amazing friends.
However, it will definitely be an adventure with my wonderful husband.

I'm still in awe that I made it to graduation!
It took me long enough, with a 2 1/2 year break.
Some of that time was used to work in order to go Brazil, then most of it was used being in Brazil
and then I took a semester off because of the miscarriage.

Still, me graduate college?
Never thought it would happen.
But it did.

Believe you can and you're halfway there.

A Kitchen Table

You may or may not remember the story about us not having a
kitchen table for our almost two years of marriage.

Crazy! I know!

But I'm happy to announce
that over the weekend we finally bought a table for our new home in Arizona.
Thanks to the fabulous sale at Down to Earth at Gardner Village!
at the store
We're currently gearing up for the big move down to Tucson.
After living in two very small 480 square foot apartments,
four bedrooms is going to be huge!

Either way, I'm very excited.
It has me thinking of all sorts of ideas on how to decorate.
Especially for what will be my craft room/idea space.

These are just lovely.

"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearning of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before.
Everyone can create. You don't need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty."

Simple Things-Land of the Sun

Saguaro's are very strong and able to hold up against any type of weather.
They're even strong enough to withstand birds who peck into them to find water and food.
To me, a saguaro is a symbol of strength and steadfastness.

I hope to be like a saguaro in my life. Strong and able to keep my eye on my goals.

It will be a wonderful reminder to always stand up for myself and what I believe.

Weekend Recap:

Lovely:
-Found out that our application was accepted for the house we want to rent in Tucson
-Listening to General Conference (my weekend inspiration) here
-Started the giveaway for Itsy Bitsy Crafts just in time for Spring here
-Went out for a ladies night with my mom and sister-in-law
-Aiden talking to her reflection that she could see in the ceiling at the restaurant

Not so fun:
-My grandfather is still in the hospital after a heart attack
-It snowed again
-Not having enough time to do my homework (Can I have another Saturday, please?)
-My to do list has reached to an enormous length (sigh)

Happy Conference Weekend Dears!
