Letting Go

I was recently reminded to "let go."

Whether it be a trial or how someone offended me,
it was time to let go.

The metaphor used was to take whatever was bothering us
and have it be the bright sunny yellow balloon.

And then, let go of it and turn it over to God.
Trust that He will take care of it, no matter how big or small.

Take it out of your heart and no longer be offended;
instead feel peace.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thy own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6

Embrace the Camera

Sometimes, I still have dark and gloomy days where the world just doesn't feel right.

The pictures below were taken on what started out as one of those days.
But thanks to my friend Erin and some giant ballons it was turned around.

We searched for sunshine and definitely found it, along with my smile.
Now every time I'm inching toward a dark day, I look at these and smile.

Hope they brighten your day too!

Giant Balloons

If you see the picture in the post below,
I drew inspiration from there.

I wanted to have birthday pictures done with that in mind.

Luckily, my friend Erin obliged.

We laughed for hours over these giant balloons.
Especially because they wouldn't fit in my car.

Here's a sneak peek from Erin's cell phone
because we could not keep the laughter to ourselves.
(Erin wants me to add that there's more pics to come!)

I felt like a happy child.
Here's to being 26!
