Kristine's Family

I love the Salt Lake City Library. All of it's windows and open atrium, fun and hip.

So when it came to doing a family photo shoot once the cold set in, there was no question that I wanted to have it inside the library.

Remember these cute kids?
They're adorable.

Heather's Family Pictures

Awhile ago, I had the privilege of taking some cute family pictures. With fall being so vibrant this year, it was a perfect time to keep building up my portfolio.

I realized something very valuable while taking these pictures. Dare you to take a look closer at this sweet family.

I would have never guessed. . . this fun little boy is adopted. I had a great time talking to Heather about her adoption experience. It made me realize that in the future it may be an amazing option for Kevin and I to adopt. Also, this family is looking to adopt again!

I'm excited for them and hope that this little guy will be a big brother soon!

Fall Pictures with Bethany's Family

I couldn't wait to do fall pictures. I love the colors and children playing in the leaves. This year was more special than ever because Bethany agreed to let me take pictures of her sweet family. I can't believe how much her kids are growing.

Having fun.
You can really tell that they love each other!
He's growing up so much.

Such a beautiful day at Mueller Park Canyon.

The list grows, even on my bad days

So on my worst day, last Saturday, I felt that I ranted just a little bit too much. But if you look at my list which is titled, "Our Joy!" You'll find everything that I wrote about there because it is still joy. I love life and have so much to be grateful for. They say that your biggest trial can be your greatest blessing.Sunday, was my escape even though I still woke up with a slight cold. Kevin didn't feel well either and I left him in bed. I went outside and felt warmth on my body, it was such a beautiful day. I started driving up to the U to edit some family pictures for a friend and then took a detour. I saw all the beautiful fall leaves and decided to chase after them.

Can you blame me?

(Emigration Canyon)

I'm afraid that we won't have too many more days like this. I wanted to soak it all in. I honestly believed that it would be able to help me feel better. And it did.

Sadly, I realized that I did need to turn around and get back to the library to edit those pictures. Right before I did I discovered this.

Now on my fall break list of things to do is drive up to Emigration Canyon, stop at Ruth's Diner and just enjoy the leaves. If we make it all the way to Morgan, we might just have to surprise the Lyndon Bennett Family with some cookies!

Oh and the family pictures, they turned out great.

Thanks to the Wiser Family!
