Hope

For a long time now I have been in what I would call a transitional period and it hasn't been easy. I have started out in a new city while living with family, turning my life around completely. I have been waiting for my internships to end so I could finally get a job I love. I have been waiting for this dream job to start so I could look for my own place to live again. I have been waiting for a job offer for Kevin so he can come live out here with me.

Waiting, waiting and blessed in abundance while waiting. I have definitely been learning the meaning of patience.

Yet, through each waiting or transitional period, I have been given the gift of hope. Hope that things will work out. Hope that I can do this. Hope that dreams will come true.

And so I wait and I hope. Thanks to hope, I know they will work out.

"Once you choose hope, anything is possible."

My little word for 2012

I realize that it's February and I'm a little bit behind.

I've thought long and hard on my little word for this year.
HOPE.

It's time for me to be more positive to hope for a better world.
Hope for a better me.
Hope for the best in everything.

For awhile this past year, I had lost all hope.
It's a terrible feeling to hit rock bottom to lose hope.

I was reminded by so many family and friends to
hope for the best because without hope there is no faith.

"If a man have faith he must needs have hope;
for without faith there cannot be any hope."
Moroni 7:42

Without faith and hope, there is no charity.

"If ye have not charity, ye are nothing for charity never faileth."
Moroni 7:44

Hope is the anchor of our souls.

"Hope is manifested in confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, and patient perseverance.
It is believing and expecting that something will occur. When you have hope you work through
trials and difficulties with the confidence and assurance that all things will work together
for your good. Hope helps you conquer discouragement."
Preach My Gospel pg. 117

I need confidence and optimism in my life.
It will make all the difference in finding joy.

It's time to conquer discouragement and to see the whole picture.
This 8.5 x 11 poster is available for you to print here.

Much love,

Embrace the Camera Day

It's Embrace the Camera Day!

Bowling at Fat Cats. We played golf style and I won after the record of gutter balls!
Temple night at the Bountiful Temple, where we were married.
It's been a lot of fun having quiet moments together. Especially being able to go back to the place where we were married. We haven't had the opportunity to go to the temple together for over a year. I count my blessings that we made it and that things are starting to work out.

Never give up or lose faith.
There's always
HOPE.

Hope is an abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promises to you. It is manifest in confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, and patient perseverance. It is believing and expecting that something will occur. When you have hope, you work through trials and difficulties with the confidence and assurance that all things will work together for your good.
